Devan and Tim are the epitome of #couplegoals. The way they look at one another....it's enough to remind you that love isn't just in a Disney movie. Whitehall Estate is one of my favorite places to photograph, just because of the scenic views and the gorgeous backdrop that the house creates. They had really nice weather-no rain and not blistering hot-making their day perfect in every way. From Devan's gorgeous form fitted gown to her perfectly paired Badgely Mischka's, my heart exploded with detail happiness. Not to mention that I cried like a baby when their highlight video played during the reception...and I may or may not have fan girled over the fact they printed their engagement photos everywhere (including a gorgeous guest book!!!) I love my sweet couples and they are no exception! Here are a few highlights from their stunning wedding-it was hard to pick just a few!
The rain held off for us (finally) and Alexandria was not as crowded thank goodness, making it the perfect day for Gabby & Nic's Old Town Engagement shoot! We wandered the streets of Alexandria, stopping at some of my usual haunts and finding new spaces that created some pretty epic portraits!! We ended the night with dinner at one of my favorite restaurants The Fish Market....needless to say we laughed and talked for over an hour! I am SO excited to celebrate with them at Keswick this fall, it's going to be AMAZING!!! Here are a few highlights from their gorgeous session!
Oh man...this one...this one was one for the books.
Coty wanted to do a Holi Powder engagement shoot, so needless to say I was totally on board for the colorful awesome that was going to happen. What better way to take photos right?! I decided that smoke bombs were a must as well, because why not go big? Go big or Go home! So here are some highlights from the epic that was created that day....including a few horse head cameos.
Brittany & Daryn had the perfect weather for their Barns at Hamilton Station Vineyard Wedding, their small intimate wedding was perfect in every way...right down to the surprise from Daryn's brother, which made everyone cry! Brittany looked absolutely perfect thanks to Kristin Mastrangelo!! The flowers by Creations in Bloom were simply lovely (I mean look at the gorgeous protea flower in Brittany's bouquet, it was in reference to her husband's country-South Africa!! so sweet!!) Every detail and every moment was perfect, I had such an amazing time curating these portraits for them and I hope you enjoy these highlights from their day!!
Ali & Nick wanted a farm engagement shoot and I knew THE perfect spot for them-Rounton Farm. With it's gorgeous red barn and old Chevy truck, it fit perfectly with the vision that they had for their portraits! We had so much fun wandering the grounds and they enjoyed shipping champagne together. There was a lot of laughs, helping me on top of my car to get a perfect shot and also helping me find my bags I left all over the place in the hub of taking photos lol!! Ali & Nick are not only adorable, they are the sweetest souls and I cannot wait to share in their Airlie wedding next year!! Here are some highlights from their engagement shoot :)
They say that all good parties happen at the bay...ok maybe I'm the one who said that. Rachel & Chris did make this statement come true though, they chose to have their gorgeous beach wedding at The Chesapeake Bay Foundation , which is an amazing work of art in itself...the architecture is simply beautiful! It was the perfect day, no rain, overcast creating the perfect light and a nice breeze that kept it cool. Rachel & Chris had the most epic bridal party I've met so far- #squadgoals. Everything was perfect for their day and they couldn't be anymore cuter...like seriously. I adore them both and here are some highlights from their day!!
