Sometimes you just gotta roll with it when it comes to engagement sessions. We started out at another location, but it didn’t quite work out to our favor-so luckily right around the corner was the Monticello Trail! It was kind of toasty, but Jessica & Allen still looked super adorable and we had a blast creating these engagement photos! Here are a few of my favorite highlights, I’ll be meeting up with them again in November so stay tuned for more of these cuties!
I always forget how hot Virginia gets in the summer time, so when Ashley & Paul’s wedding came around on August 3rd I was welcomed to Castle Hill Cider with a nice 90 degree day-hahaha! I am glad that the rain decided to stay away for their day:) Even though it was toasty the day still turned out to be amazing, from all her gorgeous details like this invite suite by Line Ave Calligraphy & her Essence of Australia wedding dress that fit her like a glove to the adorable cookies of Lucy “lulu” their chocolate lab! It really was a magical day and they danced the night away with a live band (Dance Candy from RVA) which really made the party. Logan Paige Events ROCKED it out and truly was a joy to work with again and The Catering Outfit made sure no one left hungry with their delicious food. The Posey Detail did a phenomenal job on on the gorgeous florals and A More Beautiful You made all the girls look absolutely breathtaking-the heat didn’t stand a chance!
Here are some awesome inspirations for your next soiree with a lovely light & airy pastel color palette, I love the way that the reception space was transformed into a more elegant southern style straight from Charleston, SC:
I headed back to RVA for Sara & Justin’s engagement session at Maymont and we were super lucky with the weather-no rain and it wasn’t 90 degrees!! I loved meeting their pup Finnegan and exploring Maymont with them, we even got to see a mommy Deer and her babies! Here are a few of my favorite highlights from their Richmond Engagement session:
