It's not always the location (even though when it's pretty it makes it soooo worth it) it's more about the experience and the people who "make" the venue....
Rixey Manor is gorgeous in itself, I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it driving up the long gravel driveway. They say a house has it's own character and Rixey Manor certainly does, it's full of grace and full of southern hospitality. The best part about Rixey Manor though-is it's gracious hosts and Innkeepers- Isadora + Ben. They are the sweetest, kindest people I've met and your immediately treated like family as soon as you arrive here. They keep the day running smoothly and even fixed Laura mac + cheese to help calm her nerves...what other host does that!? Seriously just look at how gorgeous this place is!
These old photographs definitely caught my eye...I love how it adds a classic romantic touch to the venue! & the picture on the back wall above the flower petal bowl....that's a wedding photograph from long past on the steps of Rixey Manor. Isadora's attention to detail is impeccable and did I mention she has great taste? (unicorn painting in the library and Harry Potter props at the photo booth...umm amazing?!)
The ballroom is stunning....white walls and chandeliers-it just photographs ah-mazingly. I could seriously hug Isadora for choosing the elements she did, it was almost as if she had a photographer in mind! look how stunning these details look in their lovely room!!
Rixey Manor isn't just a venue....it's like a second home. You'll WANT to create memories there & it will become a part of your chapter that you'll cherish forever.
I cannot recommend Rixey Manor enough for your wedding. If they treat me-a wedding vendor-like gold, just imagine how amazing they treat YOU the bride! Isadora and Ben will make your day even more spectacular and make those memories even more special...because they are like family <3
